Ankita Lokhande

Beautiful Television actress Ankita Lokhande who is the favorite bahu of the industry, is seeing her onscreen husband Sushant Singh Rajput. She is definitely not the bahu types in real life – coy and submissive.

Ankita says that she owes everthing that she has today to her serial ‘Pavitra Rishta‘ as it has gained her fame money and even Sushant Singh Rajput!  She confessess that she is a little different from her on-screen avatar but does enjoy portraying the role of Archana.  She says she works for 12 hours for the show and that she has gotten to like it now. Ankita Lokhande’s biggest moment of joy is when young girls tell her how they wish to be like Archana her on-screen character.

Ankita says that her boss Ekta Kapoor is a nice person and respects her for her vision and her belief in a person to portray a certain character. Infact Sushant being rejected by many directors did not bother Ekta Kapoor and she cast him in Manav’s role as Ekta felt he suited the character observes Ankita. WHen asked about Sushant and her relationship she reveals that both of them maintain a low profile which is why it took a show like ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4′ for their relationship to actually be known to all.

Also when the pretty damsel Ankita was asked to describe her beau Sushant Singh Rajput, she gets candid and goes on to say that Sushant is a lot like his onscreen character Manav, shy and soft spoken and has only started to express himself these days says she. She also confesses that Sushant is a romantic by nature and that he pampers her a lot.

When asked about his marriage proposal on National TV, Ankita says she was mightily surprised as he is a shy person with such matters and also the fact that both of them wouldn’t do such things for publicity sake.
